Hello, I'm Bridget! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm a full-time mama to two babies and I love when I get a moment to be creative, whether that's decorating my home, working with paper for cards or albums, or painting. I love to be a mama and I love to make things beautiful. My happy place is the ocean, I love Dunkin Donuts, and I'm a Jersey girl at heart.

This blog was named from that moment of the day we call “golden hour” when the sun is setting and its hazy light illumines everything. Ordinary objects shine, transformed into beauty by that glow. I think life is a lot like golden hour. Most of our lives are a frenzy of activity and chaos, but I believe, amidst all that, every day there is a golden hour. Something to thank God for. Something to delight in. Something to spark your creativity or enlighten your mind. This blog is about those moments; celebrating life for what it is- a golden frenzy.

“Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return.”
— Mary Jean Irion

Note: Due to my daughter's recent diagnosis of hip dysplasia, this blog devotes a lot of time to our journey through DDH including her closed reduction and spica casts. If you are a fellow hippy mama, please, please feel free to send me a note on my contact page or ask any questions. I would love to be a support for you.
